Writing on a Board

I loved today's workshop on writing on the board. You go to the inventory on the bottom right hand side of the screen, open a new note, write on it, save it, and move the note to the board. So simple... Now can you tell who is writing? Can you change the color of the font? Can you edit each others' work like on a wiki?

Fashion Show and Rehearsals (mvn08)

I went into Muvenation Island to watch the fashion show. I came in on time but time in SL seems to be quite different from time in RL. I sat at one of the tables and waited and waited and waited until I started multitasking. I find that I have been wasting a lot of time waiting for things to happen in SL these past few weeks. I am now wondering whether this is a trend in SL. I am interested in using SL as a tool for instruction and learning. So far, I have been patiently waiting for things to happen. My observations have led me to conclude that SL is more of a show or display of avatars that needs lots of rehearsals. Am I missing something?
