Thinking Out Loud

I wish muvenation had chosen a better environment than Moodle or pbwiki. I have been the admin of 2 Moodles for a few years. However, I have recently stopped using them. I have been using Ning, Wikieducator, and WiZiQ. As to the course on muvenation so far... well, I am a bit disappointed since the course seems to work so well for the advanced learner, but what about the rest of us?

Hi there, the course seems to work well for the advanced learners? I would not draw the same conclusions. The course seems to advance well for the more committed learners, those who engage with peer to peer learning activity and with those work closely with their mentor.
Have you done so? Participated actively in the discussions with peers? Attended inworld synchronous sessions? Reported about the workshop collective analysis? Discussed the ideas and design of your workshop? Searched your tutor for mentoring purposes?

Thank you for your kind response, Margarita. I take full responsibility for my learning. However, I think I have been doing my best to stay engaged in the process. Perhaps my learning curve does not align with the program. As an experienced online facilitator (syn and asyn), I would love to receive the same guidance and support I give my students just to see what it feels like.

Warm wishes,
Nellie
